Description: The majority of this art was donated by Mrs. Raymond Ott, whose husband was an avid Civil War enthusiast and collector. His wishes were that his art collection would come back to his native state. The Otts lived in Akron Ohio.

The park was contacted by Mr. Buddy Purdom , a friend of Mr. and Mrs. Ott, who arranged for the art collection to come to Perryville.
With the assistance of Mr. William Baas and Stuart Powell’s generous loan of one of their vans, the art collection arrived this summer.

This exhibit includes both historic and modern pieces from artists such as Don Trioani and Mort Kunstler. Other contributors are Dr. Jack Hankla, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Preston and Mr. Chad Greene.

The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular park hours M-S 9-5 and Sunday 11-5. It is in Civil War Hall.
